Become the Moon, Become the Earth
I created this painting, but, it feels like this painting was a gift to me from something much larger than myself. There is a ton of symbolism within this painting that I did not think about until after it was finished. I wrote a poem weeks before creating this called “Become the moon, Become the earth” about learning to accept life, as it comes, in all of its phases, with grace.
I hope this painting can be a reminder that even in the darkest parts of life, there is color and beauty, and a way to relieve your own suffering, through recognizing the inherent beauty of the natural world.
